We are looking for a Project Estimator to join our Sparks, MD team!
As a Project Estimator at Fidelity Mechanical Services, your primary responsibilities will be:
- Developing detailed estimates and proposals for mechanical construction projects.
- Obtaining and evaluating vendor and subcontractor pricing for compliance with project specifications and drawings.
- Attend pre-bid meetings, verify site conditions, and interface with Owners, Developers, and General Contractors.
- Managing the bid preparation and formal written proposal process.
- Maintaining records of all working documents and data to back up estimates and proposals.
- Assisting, organizing, and prioritizing work in conjunction with sales engineers.
As a Project Estimator at Fidelity Mechanical Services, you should have the following qualifications, knowledge, skills, and abilities:
- 3 to 5 years of preparing estimates and proposals for commercial, industrial, and/or municipal mechanical projects.
- Must have the ability to provide a complete commercial mechanical construction estimate and proposal for either plan/spec or design/build projects, including plumbing, HVAC, and sheet metal work.
- Must be knowledgeable with reading and interpreting blueprints and/or specifications.
- Ability to survey mechanical systems, and interpret drawings, equipment, and job conditions.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.

Wage Range:
- Salary of $60,000 - $90,000 per year
- Commensurate with experience. This range represents a general guideline; however, a number of factors are considered when determining base pay offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills, and current market conditions.
