This position requires a valid, current, 5-year clean driver’s license and must be able to drive company pick-up trucks. (be able to be added to company auto insurance policy.)
Excellent Opportunity to join our team of craftsmen, in making custom metalwork, including custom furniture and artwork, with computerized state-of-the-art equipment. We specialize in sheet metal fabrication. This position requires experience in sheet metal fabrication.
Full Time, hourly position with opportunity for overtime.
Qualifications:
- TIG welding stainless steel with a complete understanding of the settings on the welder is a must.
- Must have at least 3 years of experience with fabricating sheet metal.
- Experience with setting up and running Press Brake and Shear to form and shear sheet metal a plus.
- Install commercial and residential kitchen equipment and furniture. (Be able to pass background check to be able to complete installs in customer's homes and businesses).
- Read & understand drawings. Be able to write basic letters and prepare sketches.
- Have good communication skills.
- Work in a safe and careful manner in a fast-paced environment.
- Work well with others and contribute to the success of the organization.
- Limit personal phone use to scheduled breaks.
- Dress presentably.
- Work in a safe and careful manner without damage to property.
- Effectively use a tape measure, level, electric drill, grinder with cut-off wheel, and other tools related to sheet metal fabrication.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Primary job responsibilities include; preparing metal for fabrication - da sanding, cleaning sheet metal, correctly using shear and other metal fabrication equipment, welding, and polishing metal to fabricate products based on the drawings and information given, as well as finishing, polishing, packaging, and painting as needed.
Education and/or Experience:
Must have at least 3 years of sheet metal fabricating experience. Applicants must be able to read drawings and specifications, as well as be able to clearly write out job progress information and make simple sketches of parts.
Physical Demands:
Must always look presentable. All carts, dollies, and material handling equipment will be provided. We demand safe shop procedures and supply safety equipment to assist in the fabrication of materials. Lifting is required.
Other Requirements for this position:
- Must have a clean background, clean driving record, valid driver’s license, and reliable personal transportation
- The ability to work at schools, the ability for limited travel, and be able to submit to a drug screen at any time with negative results.
- We are a tobacco-free facility. Tobacco use in company vehicles is not permitted. Tobacco use is limited to the outside designated areas at break times.
This is not a training position. Applicants must be proficient in sheet metal fabrication and have at least three years of experience.
Rate of pay will be based on experience. After a 90-day trial period, pay will be adjusted based on personal performance.
Hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00-4:30 pm with the opportunity for overtime after forty hours worked.
