Bin Pusher/Trash Valet Driver - West of Austin, TX

REQUIREMENTS:

• Valid Driver's License
• Personal cell phone with working camera
• Personal vehicle or car in working condition

As a driver, you will be using your own personal vehicle or car to drive to our client’s rental units and making sure garbage and city bins are taken to the curb for pickup on some days and pushed back to the home on other days. All instructions and routes are sent through a 3rd party app we partner with.

At each stop, you will follow the instructions left by the homeowner in regards to placement of bins or other trash. Each stop requires verification of completion by taking a photo of the bins in their proper place and the home in the background when applicable. You will be using your own phone for this.

These routes pay $20 per hour and range from 1-3 hours daily (completed in the afternoon or early evening) based on fluctuating needs as our market grows. Particularly effective drivers will have access to more opportunities to earn more money as they need to.

Where other gig work such as DoorDash and Uber will leave you online waiting to see if you will get a delivery request, our routes are updated daily and available by noon each day. Once a route has been sent, you will see the total estimated completion time from arrival to the first stop to the last.

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent

Knowledge and Skills:

• Ability to follow directions and notes accurately
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Strong communication skills
• Basic to intermediate literacy in tech (mobile apps, etc)
• Basic photography skills for documenting services
• Physical ability to handle outdoor tasks
• Comfortability being around and occasionally touching bagged garbage, trash and junk
• Ability to push bins up to 50lbs

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in gig work or startup environments
• Familiarity with the area
• Customer service experience for instances when you encounter guests or property managers

Working Conditions:

• Outdoor work, exposed to various weather conditions
• Flexible schedule, 3 days a week.
• Routes assigned on an as-needed basis
• Regular communication with the local operations manager for guidance and issue resolution
• Occasional interactions with our clients and their customers
• Close proximity with trash & garbage (usually bagged) and junk

Work Location: In Person, On the road

Pay: $20/hour

Expected Hours: 1 – 2 hours a day, 3-6 days a week, between 12pm-6pm

Shifts:

• Weekends and Weekdays
• Flexible hours (afternoon/evening)
• No late nights, No Saturdays
