Our HR Director is moving away (sad for us) so we now have a position available as a member of our Executive Staff (yay for you)!
Fidura & Associates is currently recruiting for a full-time HR Director to work from the company's administrative office, located in Richmond, VA. This is a rare opportunity to join a mission-driven team dedicated to providing exceptional care for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
The company, established in 1990, provides services to individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities and/or mental health conditions and maintains a staff of 100-130 employees. The majority of our employees work directly with individuals in the group homes we operate. Many of our staff and the individuals we support have been with the company for over 20 years, reflecting our supportive and collaborative culture.
Position Overview
Our administrative team consists of 9 people, including our Executive Staff. Our HR department consists of a 2-person team (the HR Director and an HR Manager). The HR Director has overall responsibility for the monitoring, oversight and/or completion of all aspects of employee relations and human resources management, with the assistance of the HR Manager. Key responsibilities include:
- Recruitment
- Benefits administration
- Workers' Compensation
- FMLA
- Oversight of the company's training and employee performance system
- Maintaining employee files and database
- Contributing to revisions in company policies and QI/Risk Management initiatives as a member of Executive Staff

Requirements
We are seeking candidates with at least 5 years' experience in all aspects of human resources management, with special emphasis on recruitment, Workers' Compensation, FMLA, and benefits. Other requirements include:
- Acceptable driving record
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to pass a Virginia State Police background investigation
Preferred Qualifications:
- Professional In Human Resources (PHR) certification
