SUMMARY: Evaluate, authorize or recommend approval of consumer, commercial, and agricultural loans. Advise borrowers on their financial status and methods of payments. Maintain a position of trust and responsibility by keeping all customer and internal business confidential.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance or related field preferred or equivalent experience
- Minimum of two years’ work-related experience
- Demonstrated capability of producing and increasing bank customer business or experience managing a customer portfolio
- Experience with Jack Henry, CRM software, or financial planning software preferred, but not necessary.
- Proficient with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Must be in good standing under “The Secure and Fair Enforcement for Mortgage Licensing Act of 2008” (Safe Act) and must be registered/licensed with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry”; or must be able to be registered under the Safe Act
- Possesses knowledge and understanding of Field & Main products, credit process, and pricing philosophy
- Ability to generate ideas, identify and drive the development of new business
- Demonstrates strong selling and negotiation skills
- Demonstrates strong verbal and written communication skills
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Meets with applicants to obtain information for loan applications and to answer questions about the process.
- Oversee current Cynthiana loan portfolio of approx. $15 million.
- Analyzes applicant financial status, credit and property evaluations to determine feasibility of granting loans.
- Works with clients to identify their financial goals and to find ways of reaching those goals.
- Confers with management to aid in resolving application problems.
- Prepares or assists in the preparation of loan for presentation to loan committees.
- Develops and maintains strong client relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Proactively prospects for new business and looks for cross-sell opportunities.
- Assists customers with questions or problems.
- Ensures conformity with regulatory and bank policies and procedures.
- Works with delinquent accounts to bring them current.
