Work Location: Remote but we prefer someone in the Apex, Raleigh/Durham, Cary, Fuquay-Varina general area since this is where our team and clients are based.

About the Company: This is a provider of occupational and speech therapy services to children aged 0-17. They’re dedicated to creating positive outcomes for children with developmental delays and special needs. Their therapists work with children in various settings, and we emphasize collaboration with families, teachers, and healthcare providers.
What You’ll Do:
HR, Compliance, and Operations:
- Source, screen, and interview therapists while partnering with universities and organizations to attract top candidates.
- Manage smooth transitions for new and departing therapists, ensuring they feel supported and prepared.
- Handle documentation and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, including licenses, malpractice insurance, and background checks.
- Facilitate network enrollment with insurers and verify patient benefits.
- Track performance metrics and drive continuous improvement.
Patient Services & Therapist Support:
- Collaborate with the Referral Coordinator to build and manage therapists' caseloads.
- Help new patients start services and coordinate with doctors for prescriptions.
- Utilize and manage the Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system for tracking patient records.
- Assist in collecting payments from patients and ensuring financial records are up to date.
- Support therapists by handling administrative tasks and resolving operational challenges.
- Ensure therapists have the resources and tools they need to succeed.
- Collaborate with therapists to address challenges and streamline patient services.
Experience Needed:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- 2 years of experience in HR, recruiting, or a related administrative role (bonus points if it’s in a healthcare or therapy setting).
- Experience with insurance credentialing for therapists is desirable.
- You’re a pro at managing multiple tasks, balancing priorities, and keeping everything running smoothly.
- You excel at building relationships with therapists, staff, and external partners.
- You’re comfortable navigating HR software and systems, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- You thrive in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same.
