Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Cable Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of cable systems, ensuring high-quality service and customer satisfaction. This role requires a strong understanding of telecommunications technology and the ability to work in various environments.

Duties

• Install and maintain cable systems, including fiber optic and coaxial cables.
• Perform fiber splicing and ensure proper connectivity for telecommunication services.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Ethernet connections and Cisco routers.
• Utilize hand tools and voltmeters to conduct installations and repairs effectively.
• Work as a service technician in the field, providing exceptional customer service during installations.
• Adhere to safety protocols while working with low voltage systems.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and report any issues to management.

Skills

• Proficient in fiber splicing techniques and telecommunication systems.
• Knowledgeable in Ethernet configurations and Cisco router setups.
• Experience as a service technician with a strong mechanical knowledge base.
• Ability to use hand tools effectively for installation tasks.
• Familiarity with voltmeter usage for troubleshooting electrical issues.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently in the field.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with customers professionally.

Pay Rate:

• $30 - $35/HR (depending on previous experience)
