Responsibilities:
- Manages department staff (advisors, technicians, porters, detailers), including hiring, training, performance monitoring, and time sheet management
- Work with sales department, parts department and recon center managers and staff to ensure inventory is available when needed and vehicle delivery is timely and efficient
- Ensure services are priced correctly and technicians are paid accordingly
- Communicate effectively with internal departments and personnel to ensure excellent customer service experiences
- Maintains department CSI at or above national average
- Master all department functions, including service payments and billing, internal account coding, vendor accounts, inventory reporting, and service report analysis.
- Scans and files RO’s, warranties, reconciles daily receipts, and communicates with accounting department on any missing or deferred receipts/payments.
- Monthly review of sales, costs, and inventory to ensure budget is met
- Manages snack and beverage supplies for customer waiting area
- Meet with executive management monthly to report on department efficacy and goals, projections, etc.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures and set an example for department employees
Qualifications:
- 2 years’ Dealership Service Management experience required
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to lift and move 75 lbs.
- Excellent customer service skills
- Intermediate computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook, and internet functions
- Intermediate math skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to analyze and interpret service reports
- Ability to interface effectively with executive management, vendors, dealership personnel, and customers
- Available to work flexible hours on weeknights & weekends
- Willing to submit to pre-employment drug screening and background check
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $100,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
