Key Responsibilities
The Restaurant Checker is one of the key contact points for our guest's experience. This role is responsible for always providing enthusiastic and friendly customer service to each guest, generating sales, housekeeping, cash register operations (POS), and accurate cash handling. Must be able to work a variety of hours including nights and weekends. A Food Handler Card or its equivalent certification is required for all positions related to preparation, handling, and serving food.
Customer Service Expertise
Providing excellent customer service is essential for this role. Candidates should possess the ability to read and write Spanish/English, interact with the general public and coworkers, and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, product pricing codes, shelf tags, short correspondence, and memos. Effectively presenting information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization is also crucial.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Candidates should have basic PC/Outlook skills and a Retail Management Certificate is a plus. Regularly lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds, frequently lifting and/or moving up to 45 pounds, and occasionally lifting and/or moving up to 60 pounds are also necessary physical requirements.
