Reporting organisationally to the Senior Manager, Transport Integration the Regional Manager, Host Cirt Transport Operations will be a key member of the FIFA26 Transport Management team, and work in close collaboration with the Host City Transport Planners, Host City Transit Agencies, Venue Transport Manager, and other key individuals responsible for delivering the successful integration of the conceptual and operational planning for the FIFA World Cup 2026 (FWC2026) Event Transportation in their assigned US region (Miami or NY/NJ area).

The role will work closely with the Host City Partners and FIFA Functional areas to deliver the Local Area Traffic Management Plans (LATMP) and Mobility Transport Plans for their assigned US Region during FIFA World Cup 26.

This role is responsible for integrating Host City Transportation strategic planning with FIFA operations for FIFA Constituents to ensure safe, efficient, and congestion free movement during FWC 2026. This role is also responsible for ensuring Host City Bus / Metro / Tram Transit Systems provide safe, efficient and congestion free movement for FIFA Client Groups and Spectators.

Will also work with the Host City to secure transport depot location and non-official sites and facilities, Transport Operations Centers, and tournament time planning/integration.

The successful candidate is expected to be highly proficient in multi-agency and multi-function communication and collaboration. Able to build positive partnerships with diverse stakeholders, drive decision-making, and graciously resolve challenges to ensure FIFA operational requirements are achieved.]

THE POSITION

The main responsibilities and oversights of the Regional manager, Host City Transport Operations for the FIFA World Cup 26™ include:

• Responsible for leading the integration process between FIFA 2026 and the Host Cities (HC) in USA during the development of the local area traffic management plan and mobility plan
• Work closely with the HC and contribute to the development of the protocol and access routes for all FWC2026 venues, sites, and facilities in assigned region
• Work closely with the HC to develop appropriate solutions and transport management plans to guarantee journey times for key FIFA Constituents
• Work closely with HC and contribute to development of the appropriate public transport operational plans for all Tournament Bus/Metro/Tram systems and malls/stations/stops, considering FIFA26 requirements
• Support HC with the schedule & route consolidation plan ensuring that these plans meet the FIFA26 requirements
• Support delivery of Transport for all test events in assigned region prior to the FIFA World Cup 2026
• Overall responsibility to ensure regional HC transport integration is functioning as per requirements and to resolve issues in a timely, efficient manner working with the involved stakeholders and HC
• During the FIFA World Cup 2026, this role will serve as a dedicated Mobility Manager providing operational support to one of the Host Cities in assigned region

YOUR PROFILE

• Bachelor's Degree in Transport, Project management, Event Management, Major Sport events or a combination of education and experience relating to position.
• Minimum of Ten (8) year's Event Transport work experience, ideally within the football, sport, event or Five (5) years of experience as a Transport Manager, or Five (5) years equivalent/similar management position.
• Minimum of (3) years experience working with multi-agency transportation stakeholders (transit, city traffic engineers, law enforcement, venue parking managers).
• Must possess a valid driver's license and passport.
• Ability to travel as needed.
• Transport integration management experience within at least one mega project event, ideally more than one world-class sport event (e.g. FIFA World Cup and/or Olympic Games, Regional Football Tournaments, etc.)
• Experience in leading on event transport city operations including public transport integration, road traffic network operations and local area traffic management planning
• Experience in leading on event time transport coordination and communications processes and operations centre planning
• Experience working in multi-functional event organisations and in dynamic and fast paced environments
• Advanced knowledge of event transport operations involved in moving FIFA Constituents by vehicles, including city and tournament layouts
• Advanced knowledge of event transport infrastructure requirements
• Inter-cultural competency and sensitivity
• High level of presentation and negotiating skills
• Fluent in English. Spanish fluency is also desirable but not required.
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio & Project) and planning software and online collaboration tools
