Position Overview:
We are looking for a meticulous and proactive BIM Technician to join our team. As a BIM Technician, you will work directly with our BIM Manager, playing a vital role assisting in the production and management of BIM models, assets and standards ensuring the delivery of high-quality and accurate project documentation. You will support project teams in the enhancement of project models, workflows and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
The successful candidate will have a passion for pursuing new systems and ideas, backed up by the technical skill to implement new technologies into the design process. Although experience is an important part of this role, we are very interested in the right person who is passionate, self-motivated, disciplined, and is eager to grow.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain detailed BIM workflows, assets and standards using software like Revit and AutoCAD.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to develop and refine models and other BIM content.
- Assist with clash detection and resolution in coordination meetings.
- Assist with drawings, schedules, and renderings from models for use in project documentation.
- Ensure all models adhere to established BIM standards.
- Support project teams in implementing workflows and processes.
- Maintain accurate and organized digital files and assist in the distribution of BIM content.
Qualifications:

- Associate's degree or diploma in CAD/BIM Technology, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience working with BIM tools, especially Revit and AutoCAD.
- Basic knowledge of construction practices, architectural detailing, or MEP systems.
- Familiarity with BIM standards and protocols.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and communicate technical information clearly.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Navisworks or similar coordination tools.
- Exposure to scripting tools like Dynamo is a plus.
- Understanding of cloud-based platforms like BIM 360 or similar.
- Knowledge of project visualization tools such as Lumion, Enscape, Sketchup, and Twinmotion.
