As a 3PL, we specialize in full truckload (TL), less-than-truckload (LTL), drayage, rail, and international ground and air freight.

Please note that this role is a 100% on-site role located in our corporate office in Kentwood, MI. Tentative start date is May 5, 2025, but can be adjusted as-needed.

The Pricing Intern will support our pricing strategy by analyzing market trends, evaluating competitive pricing models, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. This internship offers hands-on experience in data analysis and financial modeling, designed to build analytical and strategic decision-making skills. The Pricing Intern will report directly to the Pricing Manager.

Responsibilities

• Data Analysis & Reporting
• Collect, clean, and analyze pricing and market data
• Collect, clean, and organize sales pipeline data to track pricing performance and trends
• Market Research
• Conduct competitive analysis and benchmark pricing strategies
• Monitor industry trends and provide insights to the pricing team
• Financial Modeling
• Assist in maintaining pricing models
• Support scenario analysis to forecast impacts of pricing changes
• Collaboration
• Work closely with data, operations and sales teams
• Present findings and recommendations to senior analysts and managers
• Process Improvement
• Identify opportunities for pricing strategy and process optimization
• Assist in streamlining data collection and analysis processes

Hours

• Seeking someone able to work 30-40 hours per week
• Schedule negotiable, but must be between 8-5 Mon-Fri
  
  

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or related field
• Student of at least Sophomore standing
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong analytical skills with a foundation in data analysis and statistics
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Must have reliable transportation and be able to work 100% on-site in our office in Kentwood, MI
  
  

Preferred Skills/qualifications

• Experience with programming languages (i.e. Python) for data analysis
• Knowledge of pricing strategies and revenue management concepts
• Prior internship or project experience in a related field
