We are seeking a hands-on and experienced IT Director to lead our organization's technology infrastructure. This role requires both technical expertise and leadership skills to actively complete IT projects while managing and mentoring the IT team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in server management, data migration, .NET development, and IT team leadership. You will be responsible for executing IT projects, implementing system upgrades, ensuring network security, and directly solving technical challenges.
Responsibilities
- Lead and actively participate in IT tasks, including system configuration, troubleshooting, and optimization.
- Execute and oversee data migration projects, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and security.
- Manage and maintain Windows Server and Linux environments, performing hands-on system administration and upgrades.
- Directly implement and manage firewalls and security measures to protect sensitive data.
- Develop, enhance, and maintain .NET applications, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Manage cloud infrastructure, including configuration, deployment, and maintenance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system performance issues, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Collaborate with other departments to identify and implement effective IT solutions.
- Mentor and guide the IT team, ensuring efficiency and growth while remaining directly involved in technical execution.
Experience & Qualifications
- Proven ability to lead IT teams while actively executing technical projects.
- Strong hands-on experience in data migration methodologies and execution.
- Proficiency in .NET development and the ability to work on .NET-related projects.
- Expertise in Windows Server and Linux environments, including hands-on administration.
- Experience configuring and managing firewalls and network security protocols.
- Familiarity with software development processes and Agile methodologies is preferred.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to juggle leadership and technical responsibilities.
- Experience with Azure cloud services is a plus but not required.
- Experience in the wireless telecommunications sector is a plus.
