Are you detail-obsessed, thrive under pressure, and love being part of something epic? We’re looking for a proactive, fast-moving Event Assistant to join our small but mighty team behind FightCon and Executive Fight Night—two of Utah’s most exciting, combat-sport-inspired events.
FightCon is where combat sports, wellness, and entertainment collide—think live fights, athlete meet-and-greets, giveaways, fitness challenges, and more. Executive Fight Night is a black-tie Vegas-style experience featuring real executives who’ve trained to step into the ring. If you're passionate about events and want to get in on the action behind the scenes, this is your shot.
🔧 What You'll Do
- Assist with event planning and logistics for FightCon & Executive Fight Night
- Support marketing efforts (social media, content coordination, influencer outreach)
- Organize and track inventory, supplies, and vendor deliveries
- Maintain clean, organized spreadsheets and documents
- Manage shared inboxes and assist with scheduling/calendar
- Provide general admin support to the Event Director
- Lift, transport, and set up event materials (up to 50 lbs)
- Occasionally travel locally for on-site event support
- Be ready to pivot—this is a dynamic role that touches all parts of the event experience
✅ What We're Looking For
- A fast learner and independent problem solver
- Highly organized with excellent time management
- Clear communicator with a strong attention to detail
- Tech-savvy and resourceful (experience with Google Workspace, Canva, etc.)
- Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs and working physically during event days
- Bonus: Familiar with AI tools like ChatGPT, Canva, Notion AI, or automation tools like Zapier
🎯 Requirements
- Must be located in or near Lehi, UT
- Must have a personal laptop and reliable transportation
- Part-time availability (15–20 hours/week, flexible scheduling)
- Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. (this is a 1099 contractor role - we also welcome internship applicants!)
- Previous experience in event planning, administrative support, or assistant roles preferred
