We are partnering with a well-funded circular commerce startup that is revolutionizing how retail brands approach sustainability and enhancing the consumer shopping experience. Backed by prominent West Coast venture capitalists, this company is building a seamless resale market while unlocking new growth opportunities for brands and retailers.
As the VP of Enterprise Sales, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of ecommerce by helping major brands transform their approach to the consumer shopping journey with a focus on sustainability. Collaborating closely with the founding team and executive leadership, you will define sales strategies, manage full sales cycles, build and nurture strategic relationships, and close high-value deals across multiple verticals.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the cofounding team and executive leadership to define and implement enterprise sales lifecycle and partnership strategies.
- Build and nurture strategic relationships with brands, retailers, and 3PL partners, managing sales cycles that range from 6 to 12 months
- Lead the full sales cycle from initial contact to closing complex multi-million dollar deals with major enterprise clients.
- Develop and execute sales strategies aimed at driving significant revenue growth.
- Operate in a Player/Coach capacity, offering insights, support, and guidance to elevate team performance and maintain a relentless focus on client success.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to enterprise-level clients, helping them implement solutions aligned with their brand strategies.
- Provide expert-level insights on optimizing product selection, channel strategies, and operational efficiency to maximize revenue and customer engagement.
- Collaborate with internal teams to promote cross-functional collaboration, accountability, and excellence across all client engagements.
- Leverage market intelligence and competitive insights to refine strategies and explore new business opportunities, keeping the company at the forefront of the industry.
Skills / Experience Needed:
- 10 years of proven success in complex enterprise B2B sales environments.
- Demonstrated success in selling white-label SaaS solutions in high-velocity sales settings.
- Strong track record of closing complex, multi-channel deals across eCommerce, retail, 3PL, or technology sectors.
- Proven track record of driving sales and revenue growth for a startup, scaling from $5 or $10 million to $50 million .
- Demonstrated success in driving sales and revenue through various growth stages, from Seed or Series A to Series B and beyond.
- Experience building, leading, and mentoring high-performing sales teams.
- In-depth knowledge of retail, eCommerce, operations, and logistics.
- Confident in engaging with key stakeholders and executives within enterprise retail, eCommerce, and logistics sectors.
- Expertise in relationship-building and navigating complex organizational structures.
- Involvement in fundraising rounds and managing investor relations.
- Proficient in Excel, Google Sheets, Docs, HubSpot, and other relevant tools.
- Bachelor’s Degree
