Responsibilities
As a Social Media Intern, you will:
- Assist in creating, scheduling, and publishing content across all social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, and others.
- Monitor and respond to audience engagement (comments, messages, mentions) in a timely and professional manner.
- Collaborate on brainstorming sessions to develop innovative social media campaigns and strategies.
- Analyze performance metrics and prepare reports to evaluate the effectiveness of social media initiatives.
- Conduct research on industry trends, competitor activities, and audience preferences to inform content strategies.
- Support content creation, including writing captions, designing graphics, and editing photos/videos.
- Maintain a consistent brand voice and aesthetic across all platforms.
- Stay updated on emerging social media tools and trends, suggesting how they can enhance our presence.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field.
- Familiarity with major social media platforms and their best practices.
- Proficiency in social media tools like Hootsuite, Buffer, or similar scheduling platforms is a plus.
- Experience with design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) or video editing software is highly desirable.
- Strong writing skills and a keen eye for detail.
- Creative thinker who is eager to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic knowledge of analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Facebook Insights, or Instagram Analytics is a bonus.
