Position Summary
In this role, you will support our manufacturing and quality control processes by manufacturing solutions, conducting inspections, tests, and analysis to ensure the integrity and safety of our solutions and reagents. The ideal candidate will ensure 100% of sales orders for reagents are fulfilled on time and maintain accurate inventory records. You will play an essential role in upholding our commitment to quality, consistency, and compliance with industry standards.
How You Will Contribute:
Manufacturing:
- Manufacture mobile phase bag solutions by following standards operating procedures
- Ensuring quality control testing is done to approve or reject according to set product specifications
- Ensure 100% on-time fulfillment of all sales orders related to mobile phase products.
Reagent Processing and Testing:
- Perform visual and functional inspections on incoming raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Receive, aliquot (portion), and inventory clinical reagents with precision and care.
- Utilize standard testing equipment and procedures to conduct quality tests on various products.
- Document test results, observations, and deviations from standard specifications.
- Fulfill 100% of clinical reagent sales orders on time, maintaining high standards of quality and traceability.
Data Collection and Documentation:
- Accurately record inspection and testing results in accordance with quality control protocols.
- Maintain organized records of quality checks, test results, and any non-conformance issues.
- Assist in generating reports to document quality control activities, findings, and corrective actions taken.
Compliance and Safety:
- Adhere to ISO 9001:2015 standards and company policies to ensure product consistency and regulatory compliance.
- Ensure proper handling and disposal of materials in compliance with company safety procedures and industry regulations.
- Participate in regular audits and support continuous improvement efforts within the quality control department.
Equipment Maintenance:
- Conduct routine maintenance and calibration of testing equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or issues to the Quality Control Manager promptly.
Our Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- BS degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, Chemistry, or a related scientific field.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify and document deviations accurately.
- Familiarity with manufacturing, quality control procedures, testing equipment, and safety standards.
- Basic understanding of ISO 9001:2015 standards is a plus.
- Excellent organizational and record-keeping skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Proficient in basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and data entry.
- Knowledge of safe handling of biohazardous specimens and chemical reagents.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 4-8 hour shifts
- Monday to Wednesday - 20 hours per week
