Job Title:
Community Service Supervisor
This position is half time in the office and the other half spent in the field.
Office Duties:
The Supervisor is responsible for supervising staff that engage in:
- Family Support
- Drug Testing
- Visitation Monitoring
Supervisory duties may include but not limited to:
- Assigning cases/referrals to appropriate staff
- Gathering documentation in a timely manner according to policy
- revising such documentation to ensure standards are met
- Facilitating Performance Improvement Plan meetings
- Providing constructive critism to staff when necessary
- Finding coverage for visits when necesary or requested
- Attend Weekly Administrative and Team meetings
- Maintain organized files for clients and employees
In Field Duties:
The ideal candidate will facilitate supervised visit between children and their families. Candidate will be responsible for completing and submitting required documentation in the appropriate timeframe. Candidate will also provide Family support to parents to assist in building necessary skills as well as modeling such skills either in the home or in the community.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a supervisory position
- The ability to work evenings or weekend hours if needed. Supervisors may need to respond to calls regarding visits or clients
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Reliable vehicle and provide proof of liability insurance
- Pass all required background and screening checks
- 2-4 Years of related experience working with children, families, or other qualified living experience.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in administrative tasks.
Educational Requirements: Must have obtained at least a high school diploma or equivalent. Bachelor's degree in human services, such as but not limited to, a degree in Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, or Early Childhood Development
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $19.31 - $20.62 per hour
