Community-Based Services Supervisor

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Community-Based Services Supervisor to oversee our Visitation Workers, Family Support Workers, and Youth Day Center Workers. This role ensures the effective delivery of community-based programs, supports staff development, and maintains compliance with regulatory and organizational standards. The supervisor will report directly to the Community-Based Services Director and play a crucial role in fostering a supportive and collaborative work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise, train, and support Visitation Workers, Family Support Workers, and Youth Day Center Workers to ensure high-quality service delivery.
• Monitor staff performance, provide feedback, and conduct performance evaluations.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, state regulations, and best practices in community-based services.
• Coordinate scheduling, caseload assignments, and staffing needs to optimize service delivery.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve service effectiveness and client outcomes.
• Act as a liaison between staff, clients, families, and other stakeholders to address concerns and enhance service coordination.
• Maintain accurate documentation and reports related to service provision, staff performance, and program outcomes.
• Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities.
• Collaborate with the Community-Based Services Director to support program growth and improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, human services, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience may be considered.
• Minimum of two years of experience in social services, community-based programs, or a related field, with at least one year in a supervisory role preferred.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations, including staff, clients, and external partners.
• Knowledge of child welfare, family support services, and community-based care principles.
• Proficiency in documentation, case management software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends as needed.
• Ability to pass an extensive background check, including abuse registry checks.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
