*Job Summary*
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable In-Home Safety Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring safety threats have been identified in order to safely maintain the child in the family home. Trained professionals shall intervene if the safety of the child(ren) is compromised. Trained professionals shall provide training, modeling, and coaching to the parent or caretaker when necessary to facilitate the child remaining safely placed in the family home. Trained staff will also work with the family to identify both informal and formal supports who the family can rely on to support continued safety.
*Duties*
- Develop, Foster, and maintain positive, proactive relations with other service providers
- Provide services that meet the productivity and quality service standard
- Complete and submit documentation within 24 hours of service provided
- Possess strong communication skills, enabling clear and effective interaction with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders through both verbal and written channels
- Demonstrate effective time management abilities to prioritize tasks, manage caseload demands efficiently, and meet deadlines effectively.
- Adaptable to working with diverse populations, including clients from different cultural backgrounds, and collaborates effectively with colleagues and interdisciplinary teams to provide culturally sensitive care.
- Flexible and responsive to programmatic changes, capable of adjusting strategies and approaches to meet evolving needs and goals effectively.
- Maintains an open attitude towards receiving feedback and engaging in corrective counseling, utilizing constructive criticism to enhance professional development and improve service delivery
*Qualifications*
- Bachelor’s degree in human services, such as, but not limited to, a degree in Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, and Early Childhood Development, or a related field
OR
- Individuals who have an Associate’s degree plus two years of experience in human services or a related field
OR
- individuals with a High School diploma or GED and at least two years of job-related or life experience to determine if equivalency to a Bachelor’s Degree .
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
