Responsibilities include:
- Provide full-cycle accounting for assigned portfolio of commercial real estate properties
- Analyze variances and reconcile payments
- Monthly bank reconciliations
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts and produce monthly financial statements
- Analyze year-end operating cost adjustments and tenant billings for assigned properties.
- Security deposit and Letter of Credit monitoring, assessing tiered refunds with property manager's review.
- Lease Administration, and implementation of lease data into Yardi Voyager
- Prepare monthly accruals for property managers
- Ensure that all financial reporting is in accordance with Generally Acceptable Accounting Principles (GAAP) or the Federal income-tax method of accounting, as required.
- Perform financial analyses, modeling, and budgeting activities
Requirements include:
- 5 years of accounting experience in commercial real estate or REIT accounting.
- Stropng proficiency using Yardi Voyager.
- Analytical with strong communication skills
- Bachelor's degree in accounting required, CPA preferred.
