1. Represent the company in appeals before the National Adjudicatory Council, using your expertise in trial techniques, federal securities laws, and Federal Rules of Evidence and Civil Procedure to achieve successful outcomes.
2. Coach and mentor other attorneys on the appellate process, brief writing, and oral advocacy, helping them develop their skills and confidence in handling complex appeals.
3. Conduct research and prepare appellate briefs, working closely with the Vice President, Litigation, and other senior leaders to ensure alignment with our goals and objectives.
4. Collaborate with senior leaders to identify areas for improvement in our litigation practices and develop strategies to enhance our performance, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal standards.
5. Monitor and analyze appeals data, identifying trends and areas for improvement to inform strategic decisions.
