Financial Analyst
Summary-
A well-established bank consulting firm is seeking a motivated analyst to provide client support through monthly financial statement analysis, Asset Liability Management (“ALM”) and assisting in client balance sheet management strategy development and monitoring. The successful candidate will be responsible for data integrity verification, monthly monitoring report generation, ALM reporting that adhere to regular deadlines, and high-level summary analysis.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities-
- Maintain and develop ALM reporting ensuring quality, accuracy, and timeliness of results.
- Prepare and analyze extensive financial data for timely and accurate managerial reporting to clients, for monthly board meetings, regulatory reporting, and ad hoc requests.
- Assist in development of reporting processes and procedures that capitalize on technology to increase process efficiency.
- Continued monitoring of client results against forecasted and historical performance.
- Continued monitoring of client results against current economic conditions.
- Develop a strong understanding of policies related to strategic financial management, liquidity, interest rate risk management, and investment portfolio management.
Education/Experience-
Bachelor’s Degree or higher with a business-related concentration.
Financial analysis and banking related experience is considered a plus.
Preferred Skills-
Intermediate to advanced excel skills is a must.
Exceptional time management and organizational skills.
Strong communication skills a plus.
PC experience including Microsoft Windows Suite
