We are seeking an Accounting Licensing Specialist to join a growing team in Spartanburg, SC. This is a full time, permanent position with full benefits. The ideal candidate will have a bachelors degree, 2 years of relevant accounting experience, and strong Microsoft Excel skills.
Job Description:
- Prepare all royalty information for the license agreements and reports on a monthly basis
- Compile and analyze financial information for the preparation of journal entries that document business transactions
- Prepare and maintain licensing reconciliation schedules for general ledger accounts
- Ensure that all financial reporting deadlines are met
- Create monthly sales models
- Handle brand sales projections/forecasting by retailer and product
- Oversee Sales Budgeting and Planning
- Assist in financial planning and forecasting expenses
- Assist in cashflow forecasting
- Extract and manipulate information via Microsoft Excel
- Ensure financial records are maintained in compliance with accepted policies and procedures
- Resolve accounting discrepancies
- Review business contracts
- Ensure accurate and appropriate recording and analysis of revenues and expenses
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Accounting or related field (Preferred)
- 2-3 years of general accounting expereince
- Strong & Advanced Microsoft Excel Skills
- Positive Team Player attitude
Hours:
- Monday to Friday (8 am to 5 pm)
- Hybrid work schedule
Compensation & Benefits:
