Our law firm client is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Real Estate Attorney with experience in Title, Commercial Real Estate, or Business Law. The ideal candidate should possess strong multitasking abilities and excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and various stakeholders. This role requires working as part of a team in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
This full-time position is based in their Sumter, SC office and involves managing a variety of real estate-related legal tasks on a daily basis.
Responsibilities:
- Manage multiple cases and legal matters simultaneously across various practice areas, including real estate, wills, trusts, and estate-related documents.
- Draft, review, and prepare legal documents such as summons, complaints, contracts, and other real estate-related agreements.
- Coordinate client communications and ensure efficient management of client accounts, including receivables and payables.
- Conduct legal due diligence, review contracts, and oversee commercial real estate transactions and development processes.
- Collaborate with the managing Attorney on other tasks as assigned.
Requirements:
- Knowledge of real estate law and preferably, commercial real estate transactions and development processes.
- Proficiency in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts.
- Excellent attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage cases independently and work collaboratively within a team.
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school and admission to the South Carolina State Bar.
Salary : $60,000 - $75,000
