The Land Acquisition Specialist negotiates land agreements on behalf of the client’s developer partners and fosters relationships with landowners and developers. Success comes from initiative, competitiveness, and the ability to adapt to a fast-paced and ever-changing environment. Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary liaison between landowners and developer partners to negotiate land agreements.
• Communicate key deal terms effectively and address objections from landowners.
• Collaborate with third-party attorneys, accountants, and advisors to facilitate negotiations.
• Use the company's operating system to document key activities, update workflows, and support management reporting as needed.
• Work directly with the analyst team for administrative and lead generation support.
• Represent the company professionally and in alignment with core values.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, or a related field is preferred.
• Minimum of 1 years of demonstrated success in deal-making, transaction management, client support or similar roles involving contracts or proposals.
• Experience in residential or commercial real estate, energy siting, agricultural sales, or related fields is highly preferred.
• Strong negotiation skills with a solid understanding of contract terms.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to simplify complex issues.
• Proven ability to thrive in fast-paced environments, managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
• A natural problem-solver who quickly understands people’s needs and finds effective solutions.
• Strong sense of integrity and respect, fostering trust and collaboration with coworkers and clients alike.
