What are the responsibilities and job description for the Material Handler position at Fine Art Handcrafted Lighting?
MATERIAL HANDLER (Stockroom): (FT-Regular)
· Store, pull and issue parts in the raw material stockroom
· Transfers raw material or finished goods from one department to another within the warehouse
· Performs issuing, receipts, requisitions, stock returns and cycle counting functions as required in the Inventory Control Department
· Requires manual dexterity, attention to detail, and prolonged standing (8 hours )
· Prior material handling, inventory control, shipping and receiving and/or stockroom experience preferred
· Requires ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
· Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
MATERIAL HANDLER (Almacén): (Tiempo Completo-Regular)
• Almacenar, extraer y emitir piezas en el almacén de materia prima.
• Transfiere materia prima o productos terminados de un departamento a otro dentro del almacén.
• Realiza funciones de emisiones, recibos, solicitudes, devoluciones de existencias y conteo cíclico según lo
requerido en el Departamento de Control de Inventario.
• Requiere destreza manual, atención a los detalles y estar de pie durante mucho tiempo (más de 8 horas)
• Se prefiere experiencia previa en manejo de materiales, control de inventario, envío y recepción de bienes y/o
almacén.
• Requiere capacidad para levantar hasta 50 libras.
• Preferiblemente bilingüe (inglés/español)
