Summary:
Mix and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to bar area guests following the recipes according to the company's standard and alcoholic beverage policies. Promote drinks and serve guests, be attentive and make them feel welcome at all times
Duties include but not limited to:
• Serve wine, beers, drinks, and food to guests of the bar and bar area.
• Take beverage orders from serving staff or directly from patrons.
• Charge and collect money, in cash or vouchers for drinks served following the restaurant's collection policies.
• Assessing bar customers’ needs and preferences and making recommendations for food and drinks.
• Attempt to limit problems and liability related to customers' excessive drinking by taking steps such as persuading customers to stop drinking or ordering taxis or other transportation for intoxicated guests.
• Know the quality and proper preparation of the drinks on the menu and keep up with the new recipes.
• Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
• Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
• Comply with all food and beverage regulations
• Check identification of customers to verify age requirements for purchase of alcohol.
• Keep the immediate boss timely informed of any problem or issues of importance and take the necessary actions as required and suggest solutions or alternatives as appropriate.
• Perform all activities and responsibilities in a highly effective manner in accordance with the company's established policies to achieve the objectives of your position.
• Maintain a positive working relationship with all store employees to create and promote a healthy and harmonious work climate that will be of utmost importance both in the employee's behavior and morals, as well as in their productivity and efficiency.
• At all times provide a positive image of the restaurant to promote their goals and objectives, raise guest recognition and achieve acceptance of the commitment areas
