What are the responsibilities and job description for the Inventory Specialist position at Fineline Printing Group?
We are looking for a responsible Lead Inventory Specialist to manage the daily outbound and inbound order requests for an eCommerce and manufacturing firm. This individual is responsible for inputting data into our MIS system, preparing packages for shipments and determining appropriate shipping carriers for deliveries. An Inventory Specialist must have a great eye for detail, customer service and basic math skills. They must have adequate physical strength to handle packages as well as computer and administrative skills to update records.
Responsibilities
- Input data into computer system – shipping information, replying to internal and external customers, and managing inventory transactions.
- Prepare skids and cartons for shipment including taping, labeling and shrink-wrapping.
- Determine appropriate carrier for shipment and make arrangement for pickup. Pick and pack orders from finished goods products
- Perform production duties as needed: pick/pack orders, receive/stow product, process and ship orders.
- Follow all Standard Operation Procedures (SOP’s)
- Work as part of a team.

- 5 years previous logistics experience
- Customer Service & Written Communication skills
- Basic math and recording abilities
- Excellent organizational skills

- Good physical condition
- High school diploma
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
