Job Purpose
Support Maintenance by controlling Spare Parts Inventory
Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintain inventory, including quoting, ordering, stocking, recording, and reporting
- Work on cost savings through material usage data
- Track and record the budget for department spending
- Prepare parts to be sent out for repair
- Support safety and 5S within the department
Required Education and Experience
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience with Excel & Outlook
Preferred Education and Experience
- Parts department inventory control 2 years
- Financial skills (e.g. budgeting, calculating, and general accounting)
Qualifications
- Exceptional organizational skills
- Strong computer skills
- Excellent time management
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent prioritization skills
Working Conditions
- This job operates primarily in an office setting
- This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and printers.
Physical Requirements
- May require lifting to 30lbs, standing, walking, bending, and reaching.
- Climbing stairs and small ladders in the storeroom.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
