Fineline Architectural Millwork is seeking a hands-on HR Business Partner to join our growing team. You will serve as a key strategic and operational partner, supporting our workforce across multiple job sites with a strong emphasis on HR operations, recruiting, safety compliance, and leadership support.

This position reports directly to the CEO and plays a crucial role in shaping a positive, accountable, and growth-minded workplace culture.
Salary: $80,000-$95,000
Key Responsibilities:
- Payroll, Compensation & Benefits: Full responsibility for accurate payroll processing and benefits administration using ADP.
- Full-Cycle Recruiting & Onboarding: Manage end-to-end recruitment and onboarding for roles across all levels, including skilled trades.
- Employee Relations & Coaching: Partner closely with team leaders and managers to foster strong relationships, support employee success, and resolve workplace matters through effective coaching and collaboration.
- Employee Disciplinary Action: Lead and document progressive discipline processes, ensuring fairness, consistency, and compliance.
- Training & Development: Initiate and support employee growth opportunities, leadership development, and skills-based training initiatives.
- Safety & Compliance: Oversee safety programs and training, ensure OSHA and company standards are met, and manage all aspects of Workers’ Compensation.
- Jobsite Visits: Travel to millwork installation and construction sites as needed to support field teams and maintain compliance and connection.
- HR Technology & Communication:
- Utilize ADP for HRIS and payroll functions
- Use Tractivity for timekeeping and labor tracking
- Leverage Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive to collaborate and manage internal communications and documentation
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Provide detailed reports and metrics using strong Excel skills to support decision-making, audits, and HR strategy.
Qualifications:
- 5 years of HR generalist or HRBP experience, preferably in construction, millwork, or manufacturing.
- Strong background in employee relations, disciplinary action, and partnership-building with managers and frontline leaders.
- Experience with ADP, Tractivity, and Microsoft 365 (Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive).
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Bilingual Spanish/English strongly preferred.
- Willingness to travel to job sites as needed.
Preferred Experience:
- Familiarity with millwork, cabinetry, or construction trades.
- Experience managing safety compliance programs and Workers’ Comp.
