Geospatial / OSP Drafter

FineLines is currently seeking entry to mid-level drafters and / or geospatial engineers with knowledge and / or experience in ArcGIS to design and draft fiber optic routes and small cell designs. Ideal candidates must be able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment to meet deadlines and provide accurate, high-quality work that meets internal and client-specified requirements.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to :

• Design fiber optic routes to customer specifications utilizing ArcGIS and satellite imagery
• Attention to detail to ensure all required dimensions, callouts, IDs, and map components are present in the final product
• Perform quality-control checks to ensure that all work meets or exceeds customer requirements
• Continue learning and developing knowledge of application of technical principles, theories, and concepts
• Supervise and / or guide lower-level drafters as needed
• Use logic and reason to make design decisions based on various circumstances including but not limited to structures, roadways, land formations, utilities, etc.
• Adhere to and follow design processes / procedures
• Communicate with Project Leads to provide clear, timely updates on project process and raise any issues that may be present
