The Lawn Spray Technician is responsible for maintaining and improving the health and appearance of our clients' lawns through the application of fertilizers, pesticides, and herbicides.

The Lawn Spray Technician is responsible for maintaining and improving the health and appearance of our clients' lawns through the application of fertilizers, pesticides, and herbicides.
Duties & Responsibilities

- Perform chemical and fertilizer applications.
- Aerate and seed customer lawns in the fall.
- Monitor turf health, diagnose problems, and communicate those to the customer.
- Drive, maintain, and safely operate all equipment.
- Handle, measure, mix, and apply fertilizers and chemical pesticides.
- Maintain accurate records of chemical and biological agents used. (e.g., records work order logs).
- Utilize various hand held manual and electrical sprayer and trapping equipment according to the trade/craft being performed.
- Prepare and mix chemical agents used in the trade; prepare work area prior to beginning job and clean area after completion of job.
- Additional duties as assigned.
Skills & Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- 2 year of working outside required.
- Pesticide Applicators license required.
- Valid driver’s license with excellent driving record and reliable transportation required.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- FineTurf LLC is a drug-free workplace.
- The worker is subject to outside environmental conditions (rain, heat, sun, cold, etc.): No effective protection from weather.
- Medium work: Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
