UR Medicine Finger Lakes Health is seeking licensed and experienced Security Guards to join our team on a part time basis. This position is located at Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Hospital in Penn Yan, NY. Seeking a licensed security guard to work 12 hour day shifts (7a-7p). Weekend availability is required. Our security team provides a vital service to our community and healthcare workers. No prior healthcare experience is required, candidates must be licensed for NYS Security Guard and NYS Drivers licensed to be considered. - POSITION SUMMARY :
Under the supervision of the Security Supervisor, performs duties which help to maintain the security of the building, grounds, and all persons therein. Provides patient observations as ordered by a physician.
EDUCATION : Minimum :
High School education required.
LICENSE : Minimum :
Valid NYS driver's license clear of violations consistent with FLH Policy
PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATIONS :
Minimum :
NYS Security Guard Registration, which includes completion of 8-hour pre-assignment training.
16-hour Security Guard course, CPI obtained within 90 days of hire.
W ORK EXPERIENCE : Preferred :
Previous security experience.
SKILLS : Minimum :
Must have a good driving history and be able to travel to multiple locations on any given day as requested.
