- Location: Primarily remote, with occasional travel required to our Cedar Knolls, NJ office for purposeful engagement. Candidates should be within driving distance of the Cedar Knolls, New Jersey Office
We are looking for a studio design intern to join our growing team. This internship offers an opportunity to gain experience in both print and digital production, assisting in all stages of pre- and post-production. This internship is a great opportunity to gain valuable industry experience in a fast-paced, creative environment
What You’ll Do:
- Collaborate with creative, project management, and account teams to assist in project development
- Learn the Fingerpaint process and adhere to team quality standards
- Support the team by working with supervisor to foster innovative solutions
- Learn current trends and technology in print and digital production
- Help with production handoff, preparing files for print or digital vendors
- Track your time and learn how to stay within project budgets
- Assist in revising projects in the digital routing system
- Communicate project status and any changes to the team regularly
Qualifications and Skills You’ll Build:
- Experience using Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat)
- Familiarity with prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, and Adobe XD (experience a plus).
- Experience creating presentations with PowerPoint
- Learn to create presentations that communicate complex ideas through design and storytelling
- Develop an eye for layout, typography, and design principles
- Understand the process of spec’ing and slicing digital projects
- Gain experience creating and editing graphics, photo retouching and working with motion graphics
- Sharpen your communication skills and attention to detail in a collaborative environment
