Job Description:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and skilled Accountant with a focus on financial modeling using Microsoft Excel. In this role, you will be responsible for creating, maintaining, and enhancing financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. The ideal candidate will have Excel skills and a understanding of financial concepts to develop accurate and insightful models that drive business strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Modeling in Excel: Design, build, and maintain advanced financial models in Microsoft Excel, including forecasting, budgeting, and financial analysis. Ensure accuracy and consistency in assumptions, formulas, and calculations.
- Data Analysis: Analyze historical financial data to identify trends, patterns, and key metrics, and incorporate these insights into forecasting models and financial projections.
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Collaborate with internal teams to develop detailed Excel-based budgeting and forecasting models that align with company goals and objectives.
- Scenario Analysis: Perform scenario and sensitivity analysis within Excel models to evaluate different business strategies, investments, and financial risks.
- Model Optimization: Continuously refine and optimize financial models in Excel, ensuring they remain accurate and adaptable to changing business needs and market conditions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Proven experience (2 years) in financial modeling with a strong emphasis on Microsoft Excel.
- Expertise in Excel, including advanced functions, formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis tools.
- Understanding of financial concepts, such as forecasting, budgeting, financial ratios, and profitability analysis.
- Attention to detail with analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to effectively communicate financial data and insights to non-financial stakeholders.
- Capable of working independently and managing multiple projects to meet deadlines.

Preferred Skills:

Pay: $65,000.00 - $72,000.00 per year
