Heavy Equipment Service WriterRobert H Finke & Sons Inc.Selkirk NY - Full-timeJob Description : We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Heavy Equipment Service Writer. In this role, you will use your expert knowledge to understand the client’s problems and explain their needs to the staff for satisfactory service / repairs in a timely fashion. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical aptitude, excellent customer service skills, and a passion for the heavy equipment industry.Responsibilities : Interact with customers, listen to their questions and concerns and provide timely responsesEducate clients about the company’s products, services, and offersSchedule appointments, take orders, monitor service progress, calculate charges, and process paymentsReview of customer accounts and report changes to internal staffManage complaints and returns. Resolution of customer grievances to achieve 100% customer satisfaction.Record customer details and transactionsServe as a customer relationship managerServe as a link between the customer and different departments in the organizationSupport in-house service team with parts needs for service / repair of our large rental fleet.Provide accurate price quotes and availability information to customers.Develop and maintain strong customer relationships through excellent service and product knowledge.Collaborate with partse and sales departments to ensure customer needs are met.Stay current on industry trends and product knowledge through training and self-study.Qualifications : High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training preferred.Experience in heavy equipment service writing or a related field is a plus.Strong customer service and communication skills.Proficiency in using computer systems and parts catalogues.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.Detail-oriented with good organizational skills.Ability to lift heavy parts and accessories as needed.Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.We offer a competitive compensation package, along with comprehensive benefits.
