We are seeking a knowledgeable and customer-focused Automotive Service Advisor to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for customers, guiding them through their vehicle service needs and ensuring a seamless experience from start to finish. Your expertise in automotive repair and maintenance will help customers make informed decisions about their vehicles while fostering long-term relationships.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers promptly and professionally, assessing their automotive service needs.
- Provide detailed explanations of services needed, including but not limited to suspension work, shocks and struts replacement, brake repair, tire service, and brake maintenance.
- Prepare accurate service estimates and communicate them effectively to customers.
- Document customer interactions and service recommendations in a clear and organized manner.
- Collaborate with mechanics to ensure timely completion of services while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly.
- Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in automotive technology.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in automotive repair or vehicle maintenance is preferred.
- Familiarity with service writing processes and customer service best practices.
- Strong knowledge of various automotive systems, including suspension, brakes, tires, and general vehicle maintenance.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical information clearly to customers.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks.
