Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated to join our team. The will work directly with individuals with autism and other developmental disorders, implementing behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). This role is crucial in providing support and education to clients and their families, fostering a positive environment that promotes growth and learning.
Duties
- Implement individualized behavior intervention plans based on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles.
- Assist clients in developing essential life skills through structured activities and behavioral therapy techniques.
- Collect and document data on client progress, ensuring accurate medical documentation for ongoing assessments.
- Educate clients and their families about behavioral health strategies, care plans, and the importance of consistency in interventions.
- Conduct research data collection to support program development and effectiveness.
- Maintain a safe and supportive environment for clients, ensuring adherence to ethical guidelines and best practices in behavioral health.
- Collaborate with team members to review client progress and adjust care plans as necessary.
Experience
- Prior experience working with individuals with autism or other developmental disorders is preferred.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and experience in medical documentation is beneficial.
- Familiarity with behavioral health practices, including assisting in the implementation of care plans.
- Strong communication skills to effectively educate clients and families about behavioral therapy techniques.
- A commitment to ongoing professional development in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis.
