Position Overview:
As a community solar entry level sales representative, you will play a pivotal role in promoting sustainable energy solutions by subscribing residential and small business customers to local community solar farms in CMP's and Versant's utility footprint. You will be at the forefront of the green energy revolution, driving sales, fostering relationships within the community, and contributing to the reduction of carbon footprints.
Key Responsibilities:
Community Engagement: Promote the benefits of community solar programs and educate potential customers about the advantages of subscribing to local solar farms. Also, schedule eligible homeowners for rooftop solar consultations.
Sales Performance: Monitor and analyze sales metrics, track individual performance and ensure consistent growth in customer subscriptions.
Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Past outside sales experience an asset, but not a necessity.
- Flexibility to adapt to a fast-paced and evolving industry.
- Self motivated and disciplined to achieve goals
- Bachelor's degree preferred, not required; high school diploma and experience required
