Implementation Specialist
Purpose
FinWise Bank is committed to a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and excellence. The Implementation Specialist is an important contributor in the process of onboarding new participants to the Bank’s Specialty business program lines. This role will be crucial in supporting the partners and bank during the onboarding processes.
The Implementation Specialist will serve as the primary contact for any new or existing Partners. This role will ensure that all programs successfully meet business and regulatory requirements, will manage internal and external relationships, and facilitate all meetings. The Implementation Specialist will collaborate with all program Stakeholders to achieve a successful partner implementation from initial scoping to program launch. This role will advise on best practices and continuously evaluate how to enhance deployment processes, identifying opportunities for increased efficiency and scalability. The Implementation Specialist will manage every stage of the implementation process by meeting milestones such as effective communications, documenting processes, driving key results and routinely monitoring key metrics. This dynamic role will offer exposure to various growing areas of business within the Bank.

Tasks
- Ensures the Bank’s requirements are met in successfully implementing and/or modifying strategic programs, while working with program partners, program managers and business stakeholders to create excellent customer experience for the strategic partners.
- Leads the requirements-gathering and internal education required to plan action steps needed to implement the new program or sustainable change in a safe and sound manner.
- Ensures bank criteria are satisfied in accordance with established policies and procedures in collaboration with Bank stakeholders.
- Works with the business and Stakeholders to understand business needs and vision.
- Assigns project tasks, monitors progress and documents progress throughout implementation process.
- Ensures each requirement is broken down enough to convey the exact business need.
- Clearly documents and communicates strategic program work items acceptance criteria for all bank requirements.
- Creates transparency and clear communication between the bank and the strategic programs by practicing active listening, asking for clarification as needed, and documenting and sharing conversation results.
- Enables the Implementation process by coaching us into stronger communication and providing exceptional customer service.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Must understand principles and processes for providing customer services.
- Must have active listening skills.
- Skill in coordinating with others.
- Must have the ability to communicate clearly, both orally and in writing.
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or equivalency.
- Basic to moderate Microsoft Office Suite proficiency, specifically Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Understanding of finance and financial systems.
- FinTech industry knowledge preferred, not required.
- Sit or stand at a computer for extended periods of time and look at a computer screen for several hours a day.
- Communicate with others in person, on the phone, through virtual meetings, and email.
- Maintain confidentiality.
- Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
- Work cooperatively with others.
- Comply with all company policies and procedures.
