Maintenance Technician – Weekend Shift Fri–Sun | 6:00 AM – 6:30 PM 100% Employer-Paid Benefits

Fiocchi of America, Inc. in Ozark, MO, is hiring a Maintenance Technician to join our team and support all production departments for the weekend shift. *The position will train on 1st shift (Mon-Thurs, 6 AM-4:30 PM) for 8-12 weeks before moving to the weekend shift (Fri-Sun, 6 AM-6:30 PM).

Job Summary

This position is responsible for performing maintenance related activities to support operations. Cooperation with leadership and operations personnel for execution of work to be performed is vital to the success of operations. Ensure the plant is maintained in a safe, efficient manner, in accordance with plant procedures and local, state, and federal regulations. Proactive troubleshooting, communication, and resolution of equipment performance issues with Operations team is required. This position will require one to be self-motivated, cooperative, reliable, patient, considerate, respectful, flexible and passionate about the work that needs to be done.

Key responsibilities include:

• Follow all plant safety procedures
• Perform LOTO when necessary
• Mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic trouble shooting and problem solving
• Fabrication & modification of machine parts as needed
• Electrical trouble shooting based on qualifications
• Work with production operators to understand and resolve machine issues
• Understand and perform preventive maintenance on production machines and equipment. Keep records up to date.
• Help maintain inventory of spare parts to keep department/s running efficiently
• Installs, uninstalls, starts up and shuts down equipment in accordance with company safety procedures for machine activation and shutdown in line with OSHA requirements
• Ensures work area is clean when finished working on issues, projects, etc.
• Other duties as assigned by Supervisor or Management
• Must be willing to complete company sponsored training recommended by the management team.

Other responsibilities include:

• Significant experience in diagnosis and repair of industrial machines and equipment
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Must be able to work overtime when required
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in manufacturing maintenance.
• Experience in mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic fields are required and the ability to demonstrate high proficiency in these areas.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to climb, stand, bend, stoop, push, pull, and lift, for a 12-hour shift
• Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs alone and up to 80 lbs with assistance
• Must be able to lift 30-35lb boxes of product repeatedly throughout the shift

Schedule:

• Weekend Shift - Friday- Sunday 6:00 a.m. - 6:30 p.m. The position will train on 1st shift (Mon-Thurs, 6 AM-4:30 PM) for 8-12 weeks before moving to the weekend shift (Fri-Sun, 6 AM-6:30 PM).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $26.00 - $29.00 per hour
