POSITION SUMMARY
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Fire Alarm Low Voltage Wire Puller to join our dynamic team. As a Fire Alarm Technician you will be responsible for installing and routing low voltage wiring for fire alarm systems in commercial and industrial buildings. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment alongside a team of fire alarm technicians.

Objectives:
- Pull, route, and terminate low voltage wires for fire alarm systems in accordance with project specifications and local codes.
- Install conduits, junction boxes, and other electrical components.
- Assist in mounting and connecting devices such as smoke detectors, strobes, and control panels.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Ensure all wiring meets safety and quality standards, including NEC (National Electrical Code) requirements.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace while ensuring that tools and materials are handled safely.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Identify and troubleshoot issues related to wire pulling and system installations.
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety protocols at all times.
- Perform regular equipment and tool maintenance checks.
Qualifications:
- Experience:
- 1 years of experience in low voltage wiring or electrical installations (fire alarm system experience preferred).
- Skills:
- Knowledge of low voltage wire pulling techniques and best practices.
- Familiarity with fire alarm systems, devices, and wiring standards.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work well in a team environment and communicate effectively.
- Basic understanding of hand tools and power tools used in electrical installations.
Education & Certifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
- Low voltage or electrical certification is a plus.
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Able to obtain Security Clearance.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Comfortable working in various environments, including heights, tight spaces, and outdoors.
- Ability to stand, crouch, and climb ladders for extended periods.
