Western Low Voltage, Inc. is a state licensed low voltage contractor based in Northern California.
We specialize in retail and commercial low voltage work, covering new construction, remodels and service.
We are currently seeking a self-motivated senior / lead technician to join our growing company.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate high standards of work ethic, excellence and ability, and have the flexibility to accommodate the daily challenges presented to them while working in the retail & commercial environment.
This is a customer facing position, so an emphasis on professionalism and preventability are paramount.
Responsibilities
You will be responsible for working both as a solo technician and part of a team, installing and servicing data cable networks.
This position will require you to work from a pre-determined schedule, and report directly to the company CEO.
You should be familiar with construction site environments, working from schematics and over-seeing a team of technicians.
You must be able to adapt to the work environment as needed; and work in tandem with other trades.
Qualifications
Applicants must have a minimum of 7 years experience working in the low voltage field.
Must be familiar with Cat5, Cat6, fiber optic and speaker cabling.
Telecommunications, POTS lines and data circuit experience also required.
Additional experience in electrical or CCTV would be beneficial, but is not required.
The ability to document and submit daily reports upon completion of shift is an expected part of the job.
The ability to work with little or no supervision.
Applicant must have reliable transportation and all necessary hand tools.
This job requires travel throughout Northern California.
Salary will be commensurate with years of experience.
