We are currently seeking a qualified Operations Supervisor to lead our Ventura location, with opportunities for growth and leadership in our expanding California operations. This will be our 12th location across the United States. Responsibilities Include:
- Maintain Work Order productivity throughput using defined standards and goals
- Assist in employee hiring and onboarding
- Coach, and supervise employees
- Influences the culture of the location and drives morale events for creating a positive working environment
- Ensures effective employee relations, creating a fun, yet highly effective work environment
- Monitor performance, offer constructive feedback, and implement strategies to continuously improve individual and team effectiveness
- Monitor employee attendance and resolve employee issues
- Works closely with Gear Wash Business Development team to grow and add new accounts, including managing expectation and communication with customers. May visit customers as need
- Monitor and measure employee productivity according to Management standards
- Identify, document and implement efficiency standards
- Maintain and update written company process and procedure guide for all controls according to company and industry standards
- Applies and enforces policies related to operational standards, job performance, human resources, company values and safety
- Continuously review and update policies to align with evolving business needs and legal requirements, reinforcing a foundation of trust, fairness, and integrity within the organization
- Troubleshoot and resolve semi-complex problems and make quality decisions in a timely manner
- Maintain equipment per company schedule and develop working knowledge for general repair
- Develop strong working knowledge of PPE service ledger tracking system
- Lead process of successful completion of company’s annual third-party verification program
- Supports the organization in the development and execution of operational strategies
Hours of Operation, Monday through Friday:
- 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Qualifications:
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent required
- Bachelor’s degree in Operations, Engineering, Business Administration or related field is preferred
- Bilingual in Spanish is preferred. Bilingual proficiency ensures effective communication with Spanish-speaking employees and customers
- Previous successful manufacturing or production leadership experience
- Active leadership experience and familiarity with lean manufacturing and ISO standards
- Valid drivers’ license with a good driving record
- Highly skilled in Microsoft applications, especially Word, Excel and Outlook and ability to learn new software programs and systems
- A skilled communicator and collaborator, proficient in engaging with all levels of the organization and external customers verbally and in writing. Demonstrates teamwork and professionalism, achieving results through collaboration while also being proactive. Effectively exchanges information through various mediums, ensuring accurate message conveyance and comprehension
- Possesses characteristics of servant leadership
- Strong sense of urgency, follow-through, and diligence, including meeting deadlines and have the ability to remain organized with and keep track of multiple sources of information and data

- Maintain a stationary position for extended periods when required and navigate within the workspace to manage tasks. This role may involve standing for significant durations during the workday
- Safely transport, adjust, and position equipment and materials weighing up to 50 pounds, as necessary for operational requirements. This includes the ability to grasp, move, and manage gear with precision and care
