Inside Sales Specialist

Job Overview:

As an Inside Sales Representative, you will play a pivotal role in managing and processing quotes for Fire Safety deficiencies within a specified territory. Your responsibilities will include evaluating tech submissions, providing detailed quotes, working cross functionally with other departments, and ensuring seamless communication with customers to drive sales growth. This position requires exceptional organizational skills, must be comfortable making daily calls, ability to close a sale, strong attention to detail, and the ability to meet monthly sales targets.

*Fire Safety/Industry experience is a must*

Responsibilities:
 
  • Evaluate and quote all deficiencies submitted by Technicians during inspections within the assigned territory.
  • Review and approve submitted tech cases on a daily basis.
  • Prepare comprehensive quotes including materials, labor, truck charges, sales tax (where applicable), manufacturer surcharges, and a detailed description of services provided.
  • Contact third-party distributors/vendors to obtain pricing information for labor and materials as needed.
  • Communicate with customers via phone and email and follow up on every proposal sent.
  • Ensure timely follow-up within 24/48 hours after sending quotes to customers.
  • Manage approved deficiency opportunities by closing them as wins and creating necessary work orders for scheduling.
  • Collaborate with Operations Teams to schedule and ensure timely completion of work without the need for return trips.
  • Meet monthly sales quotas both individually and as a team.
  • Compensated with a base salary plus commission structure.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position does not have any supervisory responsibility

Qualifications:
.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. 
  • Fire Safety/ Industry experience is a must
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software preferred. (Salesforce preferred.)
  • Previous experience in inside sales, customer service, or related field preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
