Requirements of the job: Must be an Anchorage area resident- this is due to on call and emergency work. Have valid ADL and no felonies. Be able to lift 65 lbs
We are a 30 year water damage restoration company providing emergency response and restoration services to residential and commercial properties. Responsibilities:
- Assist with the setup and preparation of job sites for water damage restoration projects.
- Perform demolition, including the removal of damaged materials such as drywall, flooring, and insulation.
- Extract water from affected areas using various types of water extraction equipment.
- Set up and operate drying equipment and learn the complexities and processes of running a mitigation job
- Assist in the cleaning and sanitization of affected areas, ensuring proper removal of contaminants.
- Remove and dispose of damaged materials in accordance with safety protocols and regulations.
- Support the restoration phase of jobs as needed and other duties as needed
- Follow established procedures and protocols to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
- Adhere to safety guidelines and use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper storage and inventory of equipment and supplies.
- Communicate effectively with team members and provide updates on job progress and any potential issues.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Willing to Train. Previous experience in water damage restoration is preferred

- Attention to detail and ability to follow verbal instructions
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting heavy objects, working in confined spaces, and standing for extended periods.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Basic knowledge of construction principles and materials is preferred
- Preference is given for certification in water damage restoration (IICRC or equivalent)
- Valid ADL required with reliable, insured transportation to/from work- because of the on call job nature, city bus transport will not suffice. Clean back ground necessary for hire
