Fire N' Stone in Tilton New Hampshire is looking to hire a full-time Sales Associate to welcome customers to our showroom and guide them to the perfect fireplace or chimney that fits their needs. This retail sales / customer service position earns a competitive salary of $47,000 per year plus a monthly bonus plan worth up to $4,000 per month ($48,000 per year) as well as an annual bonus potential. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A SALES ASSOCIATE
As our Sales Associate, you are excited to come to work each day to meet new people and achieve your sales goals. When customers enter our showroom, you greet them warmly and lead them through a series of questions that help you determine the best chimney or fireplace product for their needs. Occasionally, you pull out a measuring tape to ensure that the customer is getting the best fit for their space. The ordering process goes smoothly because you know the point-of-sale procedures well, and you guide the customer every step of the way. Once the product is installed, you follow up with phone calls to make sure everything is working as it should.
In between customers, you make sure the showroom is in top shape-the floors are swept, the shelves are stocked, and all the appliances are in working order. Occasionally, you take phone calls, and your cheerful customer service gives people the nudge they need to come in and see our products for themselves. It brings you great satisfaction to see how much our customers enjoy the products that you introduce them to!
QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma
- 2 years of retail sales and customer service experience
- Basic computer skills, including the ability to type 30 WPM
- Basic knowledge of hand tools and tape measures
- Construction project knowledge and implementation
Competency in Google Suite would be a plus. Can you manage multiple tasks at a time? Are you personable and outgoing?
