- Manage and provide daily supervision to EVT and Service Technicians.
- Coordinate and prioritize workflow with Service Manager.
- Ensure all invoice items are present and accurate.
- Effectively communicate updates to customers as needed, providing quality customer service at all times..
- Diagnose, adjust, repair and maintain all components of emergency vehicle apparatus.
- Oversee annual inspections and required documentation to fulfill a department’s requirements have been completed with proper documentation.
- Raise vehicles, heavy parts or equipment using hydraulic jacks or hoists, forklifts, etc. as needed.
- Identify parts and supplies needed for repair, coordinating needs with internal parts departments.
- Complete test drives as needed to diagnose malfunctions or ensure final operational performance.
- Documentation of service steps performed to complete diagnostic and repair tasks.
- Utilize external assistance and support for specific work or warranty items.
- Provide active participation in company provided training opportunities to enhance skills to perform job duties.
- Maintain certification to operate a Fork-lift.
