WHAT THE POSITION ENTAILS
Schedule & Work Location: This is a full-time position with shifts starting between 4 and 6 AM, Monday through Friday. You'll work across Southern California, dispatching directly to job sites from your home without the need to report to a central location. Overtime opportunities are also available!
The Role: As a Fire Service Technician, you'll start your day from home, dispatching directly to job sites across a variety of different counties. Your responsibilities include:
- Leading teams to install, maintain, and repair low-voltage systems, including fire alarm systems.
- Conducting field service work, troubleshooting, and resolving system issues.
- Performing annual fire alarm system inspections.
- Maintaining accurate records of work performed and materials utilized.
This position allows you to leverage your technical skills and leadership abilities to ensure the safety and reliability of critical systems.
Qualifications & Skills:
- 5 years of fire alarm field experience
- Proven ability to lead a crew
- Experience with conduit bending and blueprint reading
- Good driving record
- Reliable vehicle for 20-mile commutes
Preferred Qualifications:
- Fire alarm panel programming experience
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
